What this database includes
Flightline Intel is not a direct mirror of the full BTS T-100 database. It is a curated commercial aviation dataset designed to make airport, airline and route research faster, cleaner and more relevant.
Included
- 434 U.S. commercial airports from Flightline's approved airport list
- Domestic routes between included U.S. airports
- International routes serving an included U.S. airport
- Passenger traffic, available seats and performed departures
- Airport, airline and route pages with historical trends
- Markets with at least 100 reported passengers
Filtered out
- Small general aviation and local municipal fields without meaningful commercial airline service
- Military airfields and government-only locations
- BTS pseudo-airports, routing points and other reporting codes
- U.S. airports outside Flightline's approved commercial airport list
- Markets with fewer than 100 reported passengers
- Records that do not support useful commercial aviation analysis
This filtering dramatically reduces database size while preserving meaningful commercial airline traffic. The result is a faster, cleaner research tool focused on the U.S. airline industry.
How to read the totals: T-100 reports flight-segment activity rather than unique travelers. A connecting passenger is counted on each segment flown, so these totals should not be compared directly with TSA checkpoint throughput or airport origin-and-destination passenger counts.
